Meet the artists

Marcello (He/Him/His)

Marcello is a Latino trans masc artist based in Sacramento, CA. He has experience working across multiple mediums, including ceramics, painting, and illustration. Creator of the Prehistoric Pride and the Sweet & Slow: Trans Joy collections.

Prehistoric Pride Art Description: The crocodile serves as a powerful symbol of resilience and strength. As one of the oldest living creatures on Earth, it carries the weight of ancient survival, unchanged in form for millions of years, yet endlessly adaptable to shifting environments. This duality of permanence and evolution reflects the spirit of trans communities: enduring, fluid, and deeply rooted. Just as crocodiles navigate both land and water with ease, trans individuals move between societal constructs with courage and complexity, forging paths that defy limitation. The crocodile reminds us that survival is not just about brute force, but about wisdom, adaptability, and the quiet strength of being exactly who you are.

Sweet & Slow: Trans Joy Art Description: In nature, snails are often intersex, carrying both male and female reproductive traits, a quiet reminder that gender diversity exists all around us. This piece celebrates that truth. It also honors the slow, intentional care it takes to create joy together. Just like these snails, our community thrives when we savor the sweetness of being exactly who we are. 100% of profits from this item go to supporting TransCamp!

Werring (They/It)

Werring is a multidisciplinary artist from Oakland. Its art is an extension of itself and its desire to connect humanity. Creator of Pride in Nature collection.

Pride in Nature Description: Featuring California native wildlife, each organism represents a color on the trans flag. They showcase the natural diversity of our community and the beauty reflected in our environment.

Fenrir (He/They/It/All Neopronouns)

Fenrir is a indigenous therian disabled queer intersex trans polyamorous artist from the wild Tennessee forests; but more recently from Oakland, CA! Fenrir mostly draw furry art but also loves to craft, read books, practice witchcraft, and spend time with his black cat: Willow! Creator of Keep California Wild collection.

Keep California Wild Art Description: I wanted to draw something that was generalized enough that anyone could relate to it! I also wanted to create a design that was more abstract-like and simplistic(like a logo!). I was sure to use a font that our dyslexic and dyscalculiac siblings could enjoy too! Lastly, I added a canine because wolves are my spirit animal!
